Prolawn and Pest Control was established in 1995. We specialize in lawn renovation, fertilization, chemical application, landscape/sprinkler system design and installation, a tree/shrub program,
and perimeter pest control
We bring 25 years of experience from the University of Missouri, including the Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, and Park Recreation and Tourism Departments.
All division managers have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, and Master of Science in Park Management. My graduate work was on the use of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides in shade trees, turf, and ornamentals. I have worked for Entomology research labs, and lawn chemical companies.
We are licensed and insured. Our pesticide practices will meet or exceed all label, health, and safety codes.

Keep your grass mowed weekly. Never cut more than 1/3rd of the total plant. This reduces thatch.

Keep the lawn watered during dry spells. Healthy plants reduce the risk of other problems.
Clean up litter, leaves, and twigs.
Lawns need sunlight, make sure you do not over shade the lawn.
